She graduated from Paschal High School in Fort Worth, and met her late husband, George, while working as the secretary for the County Clerk.

She moved to Cedar Creek Lake area with her husband. They found an Episcopal Church on the front porch of Eve and James Tuggle’s house and were were instrumental in helping build St. James On The Lake Episcopal Church, where she was the Altar Guild President.
She was an adventurous and fun loving person, who loved everyone. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
