CEDAR CREEK LAKE–The East Cedar Creek Fresh Water Supply District is offering a $1,000 reward to the person who can provide information leading to the arrest of person(s) responsible for the theft of its 2012 L-39 Kubota Backhoe, orange in color.
The theft occurred late Sunday, Jan. 5 or overnight into Monday.
The backhoe was stationed on the east side of the Wal-Mart Shopping Center in Gun Barrel City, where it was being used to facilitate a major water main repair. The New Year’s Eve main break affected most everyone up and down Main Street.
