Barbara Eubank

Services for Barbara Jean Eubank, 63, were held Nov. 26, 2013, at Eubank Cedar Creek Memorial Chapel with Rev. Steve Glosup officiating. Interment followed at Eubank Cedar Creek Memorial Park.
Eubank was born Oct. 26, 1950, in Dallas, to Jean (Jennings) and Robert Henry (Bob) Eubank Sr., and died Nov. 21, 2013.
B.J., as she was known to family and friends, graduated from Mabank High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society, and was a cheerleader. She was a competitive barrel racer for the Mabank Rodeo Club, an organization she continued to support for many years.
After graduating high school, she attended Henderson County Junior College, where she was also cheerleader.
She also attended Texas Tech University and the University of Texas at Austin.
She loved the arts, photography, gourmet cooking and gardening.
She also loved animals, especially dogs and horses.
She toured Europe in her youth, served as vice president of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home for many years, and was a former member of the Avante Society, and the Cedar Creek Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.
She was involved with local property development and investments, and enjoyed history and genealogy.
Survivors include her brother, Robert Eubank, Jr., of Gun Barrel City; niece Alesha Eubank of Rogers, Ark.; great-nephew Kristofer Mastin of Fayetteville, Ark.; other loving family members and many friends.
