White was born July 26, 1937, in Caldwell, to Pearl (Ussery) and Bill Ike Addison, and died Oct. 17, 2013.
She was a “people person” who was very smart, kind, loving and well liked.
She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, cooking, sewing and reading. She had a strong passion for genealogy research.
She graduated Caldwell High School in 1955 and was the valedictorian. She also graduated Southwestern University in Georgetown with a bachelor’s degree in science.
She was an accountant at a very prestigious law firm in Houston for a very long time.
She was a member of the Colonial Dames, Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of the Confederacy and Daughters of Texas.
She was Presbyterian by faith and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Mabank, where she volunteered at the bazaar sales.
Survivors include her husband, William Kirby White, of Athens; daughters Kathryn White of Tulsa, Okla., Rachel Shreffler and husband Tommy of Stillwater, Okla.; grandchildren William White, Abigail, Addison and Emory Shreffler; brother Buddy Addison and wife Donna of Montgomery; many other loving family members and friends.
