Hazel Mullins

Services for Hazel Reid Mullins, 87, of Mabank, were held Oct. 22, 2013 at Eubank Cedar Creek Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ned Mullins officiating. Interment followed the service at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Hazel was born April 14, 1926 in Kemp, to parents Ruby Lee (Sullivan) and Ivan Camp Tarkington and died Oct. 19, 2013.
She was known to her family and friends as “Hazalee.” She loved her family and enjoyed traveling, sewing and gardening. Hazel loved to read and watch her talk shows. She attended Orthodox Baptist Institute in Ardmore, Okla. and worked for Duke & Ayers for more than 20 years as a clerk and payroll officer.
She was Baptist by faith and attended Central Baptist Church in Mabank. She was a very loving lady whom will be missed by all who knew her.
Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Hubert Reid; grandson Tommy Evans; three brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by her husband Earl Mullins Sr., of Mabank; daughters Shirley East of Wills Point and Darlene Wortham and husband, Doug, of Seven Points; stepson Earl Mullins Jr. and wife, Sue, of Milwaukee, Wis.; stepdaughter Linda Mullins, of Midlothian; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and other family members and many loving friends.
