Stout was born June 7, 1928 in Phalba, to Elzie James and Flecia Mae Verell Smith and died Oct. 1, 2013 in Canton.
Stout was a member of First Assembly of God in Mabank for more than 60 years. She was a master seamstress and loved to quilt. She also loved flowers and gardening and enjoyed singing in church.
She enjoyed getting “fixed up” and her hair, make-up, and dress always looked great. She loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Stout was preceded in death by husbands Grady Brown Clayburn and Troy Stout; and sister Avis Fails.
Survivors include daughter Grada Robison of Rowlett; sons Kenny Clayburn and wife, Sarah, of Mabank and Mike Clayburn and wife, Marilyn, of Canton; daughter Angie Ledbetter and husband, J.R., of Mabank; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Cody Clayburn, Christopher Clayburn, Shane Box, Jason Clayburn, Jarrod Clayburn and Russell Hastings.
