Mabank beats John Tyler, improves to 20-8

EUSTACE–The Eustace Lady Bulldogs defeated Red Oak Life in three straight games Tuesday to remain undefeated in District 13-2A volleyball action.
The win gives them a 21-5, and a 5-0 district mark.
The first two games were near mirror images of each other, with Eustace winning 25-18 in both sets.
In the third game, the Lady Bulldogs won 25-21.
Caitlyn Culp led the Lady ’Dogs with nine kills and 5.5 blocks, Mackenzie Abbott had four kills and 1.5 blocks, Raleigh Smallwood had an ace serve and Paeyton Dibari had three blocks for the Eustace girls.
Taylor Peebles added three kills and a block, and Meagan Gunter had two kills and an assist.
The Lady Bulldogs will enjoy a long homestand as they hosted the Malakoff Lady Tigers Friday, and will return to action Tuesday to host Life Oak Cliff.
They will host Palmer on Sept. 27 before being off Oct. 1. They then host the Kemp Lady Yellowjackets on Oct. 4 and Hampton Prep on Oct. 8.
