Woolf was born June 6, 1986 to Cathy (Golden) Woolf and Danny Woolf Sr. in Dallas and died April 18, 2013, after a short illness.
Despite being two months premature at birth, Rickey grew to be 6’4”, making him the tallest of his family. Rickey set out on many adventures in his life including becoming a cross country truck driver, following in his father’s foot steps. Rickey also worked alongside his best friend welding, hauling hay, and also hot-shotting. He enjoyed traveling, restoring old trucks, fishing with family and friends, drawing and riding horses. He always had a positive outlook on life, never met a stranger, and always set out to make his father proud. Rickey was a Texas boy but loved living in Wyoming and Nebraska.
Rickey Joe had a heart of gold, a one-of-a-kind personality and could always put a smile on your face. He will definitely be missed by all who knew him. “It’ll be alright!”
Survivors include his parents; brother Danny Woolf Jr. and girlfriend, Emily Baxley of Styx; sister Casey Woolf and boyfriend, Josh Lee of Styx; aunt Joy and uncle Robert “Bob” Woodhall of Columbus, Neb.; uncle Fred Straps and wife Kim; best friend Josiah Sams of Styx; many other family and loving friends.
