James Bryan

Byran was born June 1, 1929, in Clayton, Okla., to Kate (Dunn) and Cal Bryan and died March 7, 2013, in Gun Barrel City.
He grew up in Clayton where he graduated from high school. He married Frances Louise Rampy and had three children.
He served his country in the United States Air Force for 23 years and retired with a rank of Master Sergeant. Upon retirement from the military, he made his home in Tulsa, Okla., and started a second career as a commercial pipefitter.
He was a member of Plumbers and Pipefitters Union and Broken Arrow Church of Christ in Broken Arrow, Okla.
He and his wife moved to Mabank in 2011, when his health began to fail.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Charles Bryan and daughter Sharon Bryan.
Survivors include his wife; son Jim Bryan and wife Serena of Mabank; granddaughter Kris Palmer and husband, Justin of Wichita Falls; great-grandchildren Aubry and Candice Palmer of Wichita Falls.
