McIntyre was born Sept. 10, 1937, in Dickens County, to Belva (Trammell) and William Luther Jordan, and died Feb. 18, 2013.
She enjoyed painting, gardening, sewing and spending time with her family.
She also enjoyed writing and reading, and was a published author.
She enjoyed acting and was an extra in several movies.
She graduated from Amber University with a bachelor’s degree and worked for the Republic Bank in Dallas.
She was a member of the Cedar Creek Writers Guild and a Humane Society donor. She was Baptist by faith and a member of the Bethany Baptist Church in Dallas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and her husband, John Arthur McIntyre.
Survivors include her sons, John McIntyre of Eustace, Mark McIntyre and wife Lois of Quinlan; daughter Kellye McIntyre of Plano; grandchild Clint McIntyre of Princeton; sister Charlene Browning and husband Bill of Fort Worth; other loving family members and many friends.
