Hawley was born Oct. 10, 1938, in Griffithville, Ark., to Lilly (Ballentine) and Ervin Hawley, and died Feb. 15, 2013.
He was a music lover and self-taught violin and mandolin player.
He enjoyed animals and collecting model cars, and was a certified amateur radio operator for many years.
He was Baptist by faith and a very giving and caring minister who will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Loraine Hawley, son Thomas Hawley, his parents, and brothers Otis, Elzie and Vernon Hawley.
Survivors include his wife, Beulah Hawley; daughters Julia Handy of Albany, N.Y., Cindy Sullivan, and Sandra Stephens; a grandson and granddaughter of Albany, N.Y.; brothers Donald and Charles Hawley, both of Clinton, Ark., Glenn Hawley of Cedar Vale, Kan., Ray Hawley of Colorado Springs, Colo., Derrel Hawley of Wichita, Kan; sisters Ann Phillips of Kansas City, Mo., Pauline Ernzen of Damascus, Ark., Linda Myers of Searcy, Ark.; other loving family members and many friends.
