Memorial services for George “Mickey” Ludwig, 72, of Pinnacle Club, were held Feb. 13, 2013, at the Pinnacle Club Golf and Boat Club pavilion with Rev. Bob Bell officiating under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home.
Ludwig was born Sept. 11, 1940, in Evanston, Ill., to Helen and George Ludwig and died Feb. 9, 2013.
He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
He was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling, and watching baseball and football.
He graduated from Xavier University with a bachelors degree in accounting and worked for Braniff International for 16 years as a pilot.
He received the Distinguished Flying Cross during the Vietnam War, where he bravely served in the Army.
Survivors include his loving wife, Jeanie, of Pinnacle Club; sons Brandon Arthur Ludwig and wife Gaylene of Grand Junction, Colo., and Scott George Ludwig of Corpus Christi; sister Sharon West and husband Fred of Mystic, Conn.; grandchildren Alexis, Drew, Aidenne, Abigail and Savannah; other loving family members and numerous friends.
