New art gallery opens in Seven Points Feb. 16

SEVEN POINTS–The Library of Cedar Creek Lake is hosting the official opening of the new gallery and exhibition space with an artist’s reception from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16.
Admission is free and open to the public and includes the recent works of Arnold Hills resident Rachel McClung-Beer.
The reception will feature a tasting of domestic and locally provided cheeses.
The new gallery peg installation system will allow the library to display two-dimensional objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
Area organizations and clubs, individual artist, local school groups, and collectors and exhibitors, are encouraged to display work to enhance and broaden the use of this vital community resource.
The Library of Cedar Creek Lake is located at 410 E. Cedar Creek Parkway in Seven Points.
