Lola Urbanski

Urbanski was born Oct. 4, 1932, in Malakoff, to Bessie Nemo (Abbott) and Charles Eugene Webb, and died Jan. 19, 2013, at Park Highland Nursing Center, where she resided for the past six years.
She worked at Curtis Mathis Mfg. Co., in Athens, as a quality control inspector from 1972 – 1977.
She was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary and the Trinidad VFW Post 4133.
She was the president of the Athens VFW Post 7103 Auxiliary from 1979-1980. She was very involved with charity and visiting area nursing homes.
She enjoyed traveling with her husband in their motorhome to various parts of the country visiting family and friends.
She enjoyed designing wood craft holiday decorations.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son Keith Lasater.
Survivors include her second husband of 39 years, Edward Urbanski of Gun Barrel City; son Gene Lasater of Largo, Fla.; daughters Glaudia Lee Gates of Conroe, Glenda Kay Dashofy of Eugene, Ore.; stepson Michael Urbanski of Seven Points; stepdaughter Victoria Rich of Cocoa, Fla.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law Josephine Adams of Tacoma, Wash.
