Services for Ima Jean Lyles, 74, of Mabank, were held Jan. 17, 2013, at Roselawn Funeral Home in Seagoville. Interment followed at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Bro. Andre Ward officiating.
Lyles was born June 22, 1938, to Jewel and Ray Miller, and died Jan. 13, 2013.
She enjoyed sewing and quilting. She also enjoyed gardening and singing. She had a beautiful voice. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her family, telling stories. And she could not tell a joke without laughing first.
Church was the biggest part of her life. She loved the Lord and church family very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Lyles, daughter Sandra Miller, sister Billie and niece Phyllis.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa McKenzie, of Kaufman; son Robert Lyles Jr. and wife Julie; grandson Scott Hill; granddaughters Chrysta Sapp, Stephanie Hill and Heather Muehlenweg; grandsons Joshua McKenzie, Chase Lyles; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members.
