Mabank HS Choir to hold free concert

MABANK–The Mabank High School Choral Department and the Panther Edition will be performing in many upcoming local events including:
• A free concert Friday, Jan. 25, with Texas A&M Commerce Dr. Chris White as guest conductor.
• “That’s Amore” annual dinner theatre show Tuesday, Feb. 12.
• Lone Star Show Choir Competition Saturday, Feb. 23. The Panther Edition will compete against 5A schools in Keller.
• Many choir members will be performing in the school’s annual musical The Music Man Friday- Sunday, Jan. 18-20. Tickets are on sale now.
As a service to the community, students in the choir program put on a free annual “Evening in December Concert” Dec. 14. In addition, the Panther Edition performed during the annual luncheon of Eubank’s grief recovery group at the Ranch House Dec. 4, and the Daughters of the American Revolution at the Cedar Creek library, Dec. 12.
The Panther Edition performed Santa Claus is Coming to Town and Blue Christmas with Wesley Beasley as the soloist. They also performed some selections from The Lion King.
