Rodriguez was born July 21, 1965, in Dallas, to Shirley and Louis Rodriguez, and died Dec. 24, 2012.
He was a 1982 graduate of Kemp High School. He enjoyed reminiscing about good times, listening to classic rock and making people laugh.
He enjoyed shopping for bargains at flea markets and watching the Dallas Cowboys.
He was honest, truthful and loved his family with all his heart.
He loved his hometown and being a Yellowjacket.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Tina and James Rodriguez, grandmother Cordelia Benne and nephew Dustin Rodriguez.
Survivors include his wife, Luci Rodriguez, of Kemp; daughter Amber Starr Parker and husband Ryan of Midlothian; stepdaughters Dawnya Stockman and husband Bud, Brittney Shelton, all of Kemp; grandchildren Hurley Parker of Midlothian, Trey and Garron Stockman and Skiler, Antony and Canyon Sheldon, all of Kemp; sisters Sharron Rankin and husband Mike, Rhonda Markham and husband David, and Janice Collinsworth, all of Kemp; brother Louis Rodriguez of Gun Barrel City, Shannon Rodriguez of Dallas; brother-in-law Jim Collinsworth of Kemp; nieces Michelle Lambert, Terra Markham and Keleigh Collinworth, all of Kemp, Brittney and Kadie Rodriguez of Eustace, Delana Rodriguez of Mesquite; nephews Mikie and Parker Rankin, both of Kemp, Derek Rodriguez of Kaufman, Daren Rodriguez of Wylie, and Jordan, Miles and Adrian Rodriguez of Dallas; numerous cousins and friends.
