Jerrod Chamberlain

Services for Jerrod “Ju-Ju” William Chamberlain, 23, were held Oct. 9, 2012, at the Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home, in Kemp, with Bro. Barry Boatwright of Christian Life Church officiating. Interment followed at Ware Cemetery.
Chamberlain was born March 7, 1989, in Kaufman, to Sharlyn and Ray Chamberlain and died Oct. 5, 2012.
He was a 2007 Kemp High School graduate where he was involved with FFA, the rodeo team and agriculture studies.
He was a welder and fabricator by trade. He played little league as a child for KASA and was baptized at Calvary Baptist Church.
He enjoyed helping others and volunteering with the Seven Points Fire Department. He even helped with distributing meals to the police and evacuees after hurricane Katrina.
When he was not helping others, he spent time with his family and much loved nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed team roping with his brother, Erik, and riding his horse, Rhino.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Cloye Chamberlain.
Survivors include his great-grandmother Marie Walker of Athens; grandparents Charles and Phyllis Walker of Tolosa; grandfather Doyle Chamberlain of Seagoville; his parents; sister Brandy Tims and husband Adam of Rowlett; brother Erik Chamberlain and wife Amanda of Kemp; nieces Alexis and Sierra Tims; nephews Dylan and Lucas Chamberlain; numerous cousins and friends.
