Larry RobbinsServices for Larry “Rockin Robin” Robbins, 64, of Gun Barrel City, are set for 2 p.m. Sunday (today), Oct. 7, 2012, with Rev. David Nottingham officiating.
Robbins was born Sept. 4, 1948, in Temple, to Johnnie and Tom Robbins and died Oct. 2, 2012.
He loved his family and enjoyed fishing and riding his Harley. His hobbies included hunting, golf and watching sports.
He graduated from W.W. Samuel High School and was a truck driver for more than 40 years.
He was a road captain for the Living Vine Motorcycle Ministry and often participated in the Toys for Tots program and many other benefit motorcycle rides.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Gloria Robbins and Wilma Lemmons, brothers Buddy Robbins and Donald Robbins.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Robbins, of Gun Barrel City; daughters Samantha Gunter and husband Greg of Allen, Donna Holden and husband Allen of Plano, Kristi Lawrance of Gun Barrel City; son Bryan Lowrance and wife Tammy of Lively; sisters Katherine Duke of Fort Worth, Pat Bartek of Temple, Carolyn Goldsmith and husband Dave of Gego; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Larry’s honor to the Living Vine Full Gospel Ministry at 13114 Hwy 198 S., Payne Springs, TX 75156.
