Robert Greenhaw

Services for Robert Cary Greenhaw, 68, of Gun Barrel City, were held Sept. 28, 2012, at Aley United Methodist Church with Rev. Paul McKinney officiating. Interment followed at King Cemetery.
Greenhaw was born July 3, 1944, in Dallas, to Dottie and Charles Raymond Greenhaw and died Sept. 24, 2012.
He retired from Texas Department of Criminal Justice, in 2011, after 28 years as a mental health liaison/behaviorist. For the last 30 years, he was known in the Cedar Creek Lake area as “the Pecan Man.”
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Patsy Welch and Ann Lawing, and brother Ivan Greenhaw.
Survivors include his brother, Charles Greenhaw; daughters Julie Avila and husband Rick, Ali Day and husband Carey, Roslene and Carey Greenhaw; sons Raymond, Gabriel and Christopher Greenhaw; grandchildren Tessie Butler, Chris “Bubba” and Zachary Butler, Stuart and Emily Kirkpatrick, Zoe Cannon, Julian Day, Lyric Holland; three great-grandchildren; other loving family members and many friends.
