Rootseekers to hold seminar Oct. 6

MABANK–Members of the Rootseekers Genealogical Society are making plans to host a “Beginners How To Seminar” from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Tri-County Library in downtown Mabank.
Tickets for advanced reservations are $20 and $25 if purchased at the door. Registration deadline is Oct. 1.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. A short lunch break will be available. Participants may brown bag or go out. Refreshments and door prizes are available.
Seven speakers will be featured including East Texas Genealogy Society member Scott Fitzgerald from Tyler.
Seminars include handouts and a round table discussion at the end of the program.
Participants will receive a tour of the genealogy room at the end of the program.
