Lady Bulldogs fall to Life Oak Cliff, Mabank girls defeat Quinlan-Ford

KEMP–The Kemp Lady Yellowjackets hosted Hampton Prep Tuesday, and gained a commanding, three-game win over the up-and-coming Hampton Prep girls Tuesday.
The Kemp defense consistently got stronger as the match progressed, allowing lower opposing scores in each game.
Kemp took game one 25-15, game two 25-11 and game three 25-10.
The Lady Yellowjackets hosted Red Oak Life Friday, and are scheduled to host the Scurry-Rosser Lady Wildcats Tuesday.
The Eustace Lady Bulldogs traveled to Oak Cliff to face the Life Oak Cliff Lady Lions Tuesday.
The Lady Lions had the advantage, and won the hard-fought match in in four games.
Eustace won the third game of the contest, 25-23.
Life Oak Cliff took game one 25-20, game two 25-22 and the final game 18-15.
The loss gives Eustace a 19-8 season record, and a 4-1 district mark.
The loss to Life Oak Cliff came after an impressive five-game winning streak for the Lady Bulldogs.
Last Friday, Eustace visited Malakoff and won the match in three games – 25-19, 25-8 and 26-24.
The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Palmer Friday, and will travel to Ferris Tuesday.
The Mabank Lady Panthers defeated the Quinlan-Ford Lady Panthers in three games Sept. 11.
Mabank won with scores of 25-23, 25-16 and 26-24.
The Mabank girls traveled to Van Friday to open their district schedule, and will visit Brownsboro Tuesday.
