EUSTACE–The Eustace Lady Bulldogs notched wins last Sept. 7 and Sept. 11, defeating Faith Family Academy and Red Oak Life School.
Against Faith Family, the Lady Bulldogs won in three games – 25-5, 25-8 and 25-6.
“They are a very young program,” Eustace head coach Chuck Powers said.
Red Oak Life put forth more fight, and it took Eustace four games to get the win.
Eustace took game one, 25-11, but dropped game two, 26-24.
The Lady Bulldogs won the final two games 28-26 and 25-20.
In the contest, Lady Bulldog Bethany Strickland had three ace serves, while Chelsea Oldham and Peyton Dibari each added two aces.
Strickland also had six kills, Oldham added 19 assists.
Kacie Richards had 20 kills against Red Oak and Casey Bramblitt had 11 kills. Mallory Keeling added 12 assists.
The win against Red Oak improved Eustace’s record to 18-7 for the season.
Additionally, the Eustace junior varsity team defeated Red oak in two games – 25-22 and 25-19. The freshman also won in two – 25-4 and 25-18.
The Lady Bulldogs traveled to Malakoff Friday, and will travel to Oak Cliff to face Life Oak Cliff school Tuesday.
